Terms and conditions of participation
With the Ipsos Mail Monitor thousands of participants regularly check various aspects of the quality of postal delivery online via standardised forms.
You can be either a sender or a recipient of test mail. During the course of a project, as the recipient of test letters you will regularly check the contents of your mail box and update the status of the delivery online.
This will not take longer than five minutes for you.
As a sender of test mail, you will sent off test mail on a designated date from a sending point you and us have previously agreed on (post box, service center).
These tasks will be discussed and agreed on with you beforehand.
By participating in our research, you will gain bonus points that you can exchange for rewards in our gift shop.
Participating in the study will not lead to any additional costs on your part
Your participation is of course voluntary and can be terminated by you at any time without notice for any reason by phone or e-mail.
In order to participate as a
reveiver of test mail you MUST:
- be 18 years or older,
- habitually receive all your mail via a post box with your name on at your personal address,
- state this address completely and correctly on our website,
- check your mail box yourself on a daily basis,
- have regular internet access several times a week,
- allow us to us to use your e-mail address to contact you.
You MAY NOT participate as a
receiver if
- You live in a large housing estate like a student dormitory or a retirement home,
- You or a member of your household are employed at your national postal service.
In order to participate as a
sender of test mail you MUST
- be 18 years or older,
- state your address completely and correctly on our website,
- state the exact address of a mail box or service center you can serve for us on designated dates, for some projects also the address of your company,
- have regular internet access several times a week,
- allow us to us to use your e-mail address to contact you.
You MAY NOT participate as a
sender if
- - You or a member of your household are employed at your national postal service.
Requirements for "company senders":
- possibility of injecting test mail into the company mail
- possibility to produce test mail according to electronic parameters
- preferably be employed at the delivery department (not obligatory)
- internet access
- be at work on daily basis
- supply a substitute in case of absence from work
Other:
- The sender must obtain the consent of his/her employer
- The sender/employer confirms their compliance with Ipsos’data protection policy in writing
We would appreciate your long term support over a period of at least 6 months.
We will normally contact you via e-mail or our online portal. Sometimes, problems arise that are easier to solve on the phone.
For these rare cases we would like to be able to call you during the day and ask that you provide a phone number. We assure you that we will not be using your phone number for any other purposes nor pass it on to third parties.
Once you have registered on our website, we will contact you. In some cases, it may be that regional participant quotas are currently exhausted, please understand that in such a case we will first list you as reserve participant.
